The situation is not very rosy for AMD in games as well. The results obtained in contemporary applications of this type suggest that even the promising Phenom 9900 cannot ensure the same performance level you can get from Core 2 Quad Q6600. By the way, Phenom doesn’t look too good even compared with the predecessor – Athlon 64 X2 6400+.
