We are ready to share with you our extensive benchmarking results of the real quad-core AMD processors from the new Phenom family that were officially announced on November 19, 2007. Our article includes detailed performance analysis for Phenom 9500, 9600, 9700, 9900 and an overclocked CPU running at 3.0GHz frequency.

Final Rendering

The overall picture here is very similar to what we have already discussed. Although the monolithic design of the new Phenom processors ensures more efficient communication between the cores than the dual-die Core 2 Quad, the performance difference between the quad-core AMD and Intel processors is still more than significant.
