AMD has finally managed to release a CPU with 2.4GHz clock frequency. Due to the new CG core revision we are glad to welcome Athlon 64 FX-53. Intel processors manage to defeat AMD Athlon 64 FX-53 only in one case: during data compression in 7zip utility. No wonder as this archiving tool supports multi-threading. However, as you can see Hyper-Threading doesn’t help Intel during data decompression.
