To check the performance of the processors in professional applications and at final rendering, we use CINEBENCH 2003 which is also available in a native 64-bit version.

The Sempron 3400+ is faster than the Athlon 64 3000+ for Socket 939 (1.8GHz frequency) as well as the Socket 754 Athlon 64 3000+. The Celeron D 351 looks bad in this test – even at the overclocked frequency it cannot compete with the default-clocked Sempron 3400+.

We get a different picture in OpenGL applications depending on the kind of the load.
