The textural and geometrical load is low in the second test, but normal maps and dynamic stencil shadows are employed, thus making it an excellent match for the GeForce 6/7 architecture. There’s no definite winner here: the higher frequencies of ATI solutions are counterbalanced with NVIDIA UltraShadow II technology.

This balance between the products from the two manufacturers can be observed in the “eye candy” mode, too, with a minor advantage on the NVIDIA part in low resolutions.
