X-bit labs undertakes another attempt to choose the best-among-the-best hardware for every buyer. Today we test a massive amount of graphics cards in unprecedented – 30 – number of benchmarks just to find out the best solutions at different price-points.

The third test is much alike to the second one, but puts a higher geometrical load on the card. Anyway, ATI and NVIDIA based graphics cards of the same class have similar speeds here.

Unlike in the second test, ATI’s solutions enjoy a certain advantage in the “eye candy” mode here. ATI cards have a high vertex shader performance and an efficient memory controller.
