As soon as we enabled Eye Candy mode, the eldest RADEON models dashed forward. Even such a monster as GeForce FX 5950 Ultra couldn’t compete on equal terms with them. GeForce FX 5900 looks very pale in this case: being a really expensive toy, it performed as fast as RADEO 9500 PRO/RADEON 9600 XT. As you may have already understood, the youngest GeForce FX models are hardly worth mentioning at all here: they are in the very end of the race.
