Quite a lot of people buy hardware and software to play with during the upcoming holidays late this month. Some buy consoles, some get new games, others acquire new graphics cards. This review will help you to choose between 9 premier graphics cards based on VPUs and GPUs from ATI and NVIDIA in 16 benchmarks representing performance in past, present and upcoming 3D games! In addition to benchmarks, we have market analysis for you.

With enabled FSAA and anisotropic filtering the situation changed dramatically. GeForce FX managed to retain the leadership in this test, but the gap got significantly smaller this time. In fact, it is pretty logical: these graphics cards have always been known for their inability to retain high speed as soon as visual effects were enabled.
So, the indisputable victory in Serious Sam: The Second Encounter belongs to GeForce FX family. However, we cannot consider this game a next-generation one, which makes this victory less important, unfortunately.
