Far Cry 1.2, Pier

In order to present more adequate results for high-end graphics cards, we decided to include Shader Model 2.0b and Shader Model 3.0 render paths results as well. We used ForceWare 61.45 and CATALYST 4.8 beta drivers for these 3 levels.




Note: minimal fps are marked with white numbers on the diagrams, black numbers represent average fps.


NVIDIA’s GeForce 6800-series clearly wins in “pure mode”, but once “eye candy” features are enabled, the GeForce products lose their crown to RADEON X800 XT. On the other hand, the GeForce 6800 GT is much faster compared to the RADEON X800 PRO, while the RADEON 9800 XT cannot deliver results comparable to the GeForce 6800.
