This shooter refuses to run in the 1600x1200 resolution on graphics cards with NVIDIA’s chips – that is, this display mode was just missing in the options, so we offer the results for two resolutions only.

The game evidently has a liking toward NVIDIA’s GPUs: the RADEON X800 XT and the X800 Pro are even slower than the GeForce FX 5950 Ultra! In the 1280x1024 resolution the RADEON X800 XT improved the situation somewhat, although didn’t make it to the level of the GeForce 6800. This fact is hard to explain; at least, we can’t say that the game’s graphics is too complex or advanced technologically.

It is strange but the RADEONs don’t look advantageous in the “eye candy” mode as they usually do. The reason may be lying somewhere deep in the game engine’s bowels. Note also that the min fps rate is similar for all the graphics cards, so the user shouldn’t feel any great difference between different cards.
