Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004

In fact, all the graphics cards are stopped by the central processor, with the only exception of the GeForce FX 5700 Ultra. In higher resolution, the other GeForce FX cards and the RADEON 9600 XT join it. Curiously, the minimal fps rate in this game is very close to the average fps rate.

The top-end members of the new GPU series from ATI and NVIDIA again give out the same number of frames per second, but the GeForce 6800 GT starts slowing down in 1280x1024. In the 1600x1200 resolution, the RADEON X800 XT and Pro get superiority over the GeForce 6800 Ultra and GT, respectively; the GeForce 6800 suffers again from its slow memory.

Among the cards of the previous generation, we see a fight between the RADEON 9800 XT and the GeForce FX 5950 Ultra as well as between the RADEON 9800 Pro and the GeForce FX 5900. The RADEON 9600 XT outperforms the GeForce FX 5700 Ultra in all resolutions, save for 1600x1200 – its slower memory starts playing its negative role here.
