Perimeter

You can play Perimeter with some comfort on the RADEON X800 XT only. Other cards don’t provide even the bare minimum of 30 fps. Subjectively, though, the GeForce 6800 Ultra and the RADEON X800 Pro give a similar level of comfort. The above-said things still refer to the 1024x768 resolution (!), and only the same RADEON X800 XT hits 30 fps in 1280x1024.

In the “eye candy” mode Perimeter is only playable on the RADEON X800 XT and only in the 1024x768 resolution. Everything else looks more like a slideshow. We haven’t yet met such a demanding game, by the way, but we’re sure there’ll be more such games in the future. It is for them that the computer industry is rolling out the fastest and most advanced graphics cards and processors.
