Unreal Tournament 2004
As usually, we use two demos in Unreal Tournament 2004 game: one that largely depends on TMUs’ performance, another that relies on vertex shaders.
Outdoor territory, a lot of objects above the horizon, massive textures and loads of players, buildings and vehicles is not an easy task for an entry-level graphics card. The DeltaChrome S4 Pro delivers massive speed advantage over the RADEON 9200, but falls behind its more powerful S8 Nitro and S8 brethren along with the RADEON 9600- and GeForce FX 5600-based graphics cards.
Eight rendering pipelines in addition to relatively high clock-speed allow S3 DeltaChrome S8 and S8 Nitro to outperform the less powerful RADEON 9600 and GeForce FX 5700. But there is nothing to do in this test with four pixel and two vertex processors even in 1024x768 resolution, the results tell us, indicating that the DeltaChrome S4 Pro is seriously behind its competitors.
