This new mainboard from Asus belongs to the “Republic of Gamers” series for gamers and overclocking enthusiasts. It has excellent set of features, proved to be a great overclocking platform, and the Rampage IV Formula/Battlefield 3 modification also has a free game coupon to sweeten the deal even more.

Unfortunately, we were unable to compare mainboards in identical conditions during CPU overclocking, because of all mainboards we tested only Intel DX79SI could overclock our CPU to 4.6 GHz, while all others failed to do so. In the meanwhile, Asus Rampage IV Formula allowed us to overclock the same processor to 4.7 GHz that is why it is obviously faster in all tests for objective reasons.
