The LG GSA-4160B confirmed the declared maximum of the read speed with all types of discs. The maximum CD-RW read speed of the Sony DW-D22A is limited at 32x. The access time of the Sony drive is almost the same in both of its modes and is overall bigger than with the drives from LG.
