Well, let’s now switch to FAT32 and run the same tests.

The controller from VIA is brilliant again. The one from Intel is good at creating large ISO-like files, but creates smaller files much slower. Note that the Acard controller works much better in FAT32 than in NTFS.

The solution from Adaptec shows good reading capabilities in FAT32, but the others did just a little worse, save for the unlucky HighPoint.
