The table of efficiency suggests that the TCQ mode more often reduces the read speed than increases it.

Here are the diagrams for each of the patterns:

It’s only the RAID10 that enjoys a speed gain from enabled TCQ, which is by the way contradictive to the results we’ve got earlier (in the Sequential Read pattern). And of course we should single out the speed boost of the two-disk RAID0 when processing the Install pattern.
