Painkiller: Battle Out of Hell

Nearly all the graphics cards included in this review have the same speed in this game, being limited by the system central processor. The products from the GeForce 6600 and RADEON X700 series make an exception.

We can compare even high-performance products in high resolutions after we have enabled full-screen antialiasing and anisotropic filtering. Painkiller preferring cards with a high GPU clock rate, it is natural that the RADEON X850 XT and XT Platinum Edition beat the GeForce 6800 Ultra here. The GeForce 6600 GT, however, is only 1fps ahead of the RADEON X700 PRO despite having higher clock rates.
