Although this game is based on the Doom 3 engine, it produces different numbers. Particularly, the ATI RADEON X800 XL runs it at a very good speed, despite ATI’s deficient support of the OpenGL API. This not-very-new graphics card is always a little ahead of the GeForce 6800 GS and GeForce 6800 GT which in their turn match each other’s performance. The results of the RADEON X1600 XT are a failure if compared with those of NVIDIA’s new product, which doesn’t suffer from the lack of TMUs.
