This car simulator prefers ATI RADEON X850 and X800 graphics cards as they are more efficient at executing simple pixel shaders. The RADEON X800 XL is unrivalled in low resolutions, but it is then overtaken by the GeForce 6800 GS in higher ones. In the latter case the gap between the two graphics cards is huge – about 40% even when the GeForce 6800 GS works at its default frequencies. So, it seems this game values GPU frequency more than some extra pixel pipelines.
