Half-Life 2: Episode One

ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT GDDR4 not only yields to GeForce 8600 GTS in 1280x1024 resolution, but is even a little faster than the Nvidia solution despite 4x multisampling. With the average performance close to 60fps we can already speak of acceptable gaming comfort. Unfortunately, ATI solution gives in very quickly and in 1600x1200 it can compete only with GeForce 8600 GT, while ATI Radeon X1950 Pro and Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS are pretty fast in this resolution. Anyway, mainstream graphics card owners should be careful with resolution over 1280x1024, especially when FSAA is enabled.
