Company of Heroes

We don’t use the eye candy mode in this game due to its having problems with FSAA. We test it with anisotropic filtering only.

Despite the rather good average speed at 1280x1024, the Radeon HD 2600 XT doesn’t suit quite well for playing this game because its min speed is only 19fps. Theoretically, it is possible to play at this performance level, because Company of Heroes is not a first-person 3D shooter. But in some cases the performance drop may have serious effect on the troops control precision and hence on the overall campaign success. As for the GeForce 8600 GT, its speed is never lower than 28fps while the average is as high as 73fps. This is enough for comfortable play.
