The newcomer is as fast as the RADEON X300 in Il-2, and even a little faster in high resolutions. Anyway, the efficiency of the GammaChrome might be better – our sample is clocked at 400/350 (700DDR) MHz, while the ATI card is clocked at the humble 325/200 (400DDR) MHz. This game uses pixel shaders extensively, but the GammaChrome isn’t the best executor of such shaders. It can only compete with the RADEON X300 here.
