3D Real-Time Strategy Games

C&C Generals: Zero Hour

Unlike some other strategy games, C&C Generals: Zero Hour requires a powerful graphics card with pixel shaders 2.0 support along with efficient geometry engine, TMUs and memory controller to run the game in high resolution and all its glory.

In 1280x1024 resolution none of the entry-level graphics cards from ATI, NVIDIA and S3 Graphics can deliver decent frame rates; though, the RADEON 9600 and the GeForce FX 5700 are close to 35fps.

In 1024x768 the DeltaChrome S8 Nitro, RADEON 9600 and GeForce FX 5700 may give you about 45 ~ 50fps. The DeltaChrome S4 Pro can only outperform the RADEON 9200 and is behind the rest DirectX 9.0 graphics cards in the test.
