It already has. Check AMD's share price, $12.14. I really don't understand this share price. AMD is doing the best they have in years. Their hitting their roadmaps, their processor releases have been done well. Their flash business is good. They turned a profit for two consecutive quaters and look to be in good shape for the third and forth. The only thing AMD could really be doing better is somewhat out of their control; MIcrosoft needs to release 64-bit windows and AMD needs more Teir 1 support. The market has shown there is demand for machines with AMD processors, there just needs to be greater supply. Example; the rate at which Athlon 64 laptops are flying off the shelves. AMD is still pricing very competitvly citing Gamers Depot "We purposely pit the 3800+ against all the current Intel CPUs at our disposal to show that AMD undoubtedly has the price to performance crown."
So all in all the drop in share price really has me perplexed. What is Wallstreet thinking? So if you like to make some money go pick AMD shares up at $12.17.
