"AMD has always said it names model numbers of its central processing units relatively to performance of AMD Athlon “Thunderbird” processor that was marked with real clock-speed"

And now it's the same!
Sempron model number is relatively to AMD Duron that is marked with real clock-speed.
So no problem here, AMD is very cleaver!

I am still think how Athon architecture is really good, who have bought a ThunderBird/XP still have an excelente processor in their home's, don’t you think?
