Dissappointed you did not compare the 9600XT against the X700 XT there are both ATI's mainstream market cards. X700 XT any better? How much better?

I find it disturbing that this second preview test for the x700 also includes the ATI X800Pro but does not compare the Nvidia 6800 GT as well, ( the Nvidia product placed to match the X800pro) only the lowest 6800 is included which you left completely out of first preview test though x800 pro was incudled there as well. It could appear there is some bias here to make the new ATI products in general look better than it really is.

6600 GT seems like a better buy now!
but, we have to wait for better drivers (exept doom3 which is reserved for nvidia) because it scores more 3d marks than 6600GT

I like your site very much but their is little thing I wish you do, the test chart it would be a batter data reading if its viewed as a bar chart instead of the previous way you adopt I hope you continue your analyst helping the user to get the best knowledge about hardware being so fair to be source for comparison in hardware taking the way of information displayed under conceder thanks and I hop my comment is helping and not harming your progress

Really Clear and well maid article...thx man i just Bought this new ATI X700 AGP 8x/4x 256 Mb Pro Vivo. Even tough its not exactly the same card i guess the performances are similar. So thx again man. Now im sure i've bought the good thing.

I recently purchased a X700 AGP Pro, LOVE IT! Insaine graphics, the GDDR3 has really made an improvment! Personally I say save your cash on the X800, games cant use all of its power so it just waisting $$. The X700 has more power than needed, why spend more?
