1. Warning.

Those Sandisk Imagemate USB readers are piece of crap.

Our lab bouth 20 of them and they ALL broken down within a year.

We've used several readers from at least five different manufacturers and Sandisk ImageMate USB is the only one that has failed consistently.

I'm now using Lexar USB 2.0 Multi-Card reader (which supports Memstick Pro, XD and every other card type) without any problems.

I'd recommend any other reader instead of the Sandisk Imagemate.

That's just IMHO, but with a sampling of 20 units (and no, they were NOT misused or break down to stupid user error)!

2. Good review but there one particular aspect that went unaddressed. I have an Iriver H340 mp3 player that supports USB on the go, if my camera supported it, i could plug the camera into the player and save the pictures down onto the HD. As my camera doesn't support this, my next best option is a card reader, I know from the Iriver forums that not all card readers work therefore exploring this aspect of compatability in the review would have been very informative.
Indeed I had not heard of USB on the go until I got the player, but the idea of a device being able to host usb without a computer being involved seems very valuable, there is scope to include this in reviews of things like cameras as well.
