Excellent & v useful comparison

I would like know more thing about processors

Iwant to buy a laptop/note book computer. I use MS fight sim quite a bit and I would like to know what is the best by? I need all the speed i can get and memory too. Is there a laptop/notebook out there for me?

your comparison of the celeron and the sempron needs to be geared to the basest purchaser of computers. Please be succinct in your description of these processors without getting to wordy. I remember the confusion of the 386 versions of a processor with and without a math coprocessor. As I remember, the purchase of the lower rated computer was definitely not advisable.

wanted to see what if i give the same amount on the main chip with a 128 mb geforce card and played Doom 3 on the m/c with a decent setting.( comparision of performance/price that too updated ) .that what i think all of us wants.

NEVERTHELESS, MY AMD64 IS REALTIVELY FASTER THAN MY INTEL LGA775, I HAVE ALREADY SOLD 2 UNITS OF MY LGA775 CPU AT LOW PRICE, BUT MY INTEL PRESCOT IS OUTSTANDING.

RECOMMENDATION FOR NEW PC BUYER:

BUY ONLY THIS: INTEL PRESCOT, AMD64,& CELERON D

Ecxelent Test, i thought Celeron D were better than a 3100+ sempron, now i certanly will buy teh sempron.

what is better, amd or intel overall in proccesors??? a lot of u might think amd is better, becuase its doing better than intel rith now. lets comapre this, amd new proccesor antalon 64 dual core, and intel pentium d. there both daul core, but which is better??? this is what amd, says, "this is real multi-tasking." but believve me, pentuim d is that real multitasking core. I have two hps at my house, everything the same, same gig, memory, but the proccesors are different. these two proccessors as i above is mentioned. when i use real dual core tasks, sometimes amd could be a little glitchy, such as opening media center. it takes few seconds to start it up with having music on and few other programs. with pentuim d, its like a snap, its not glitchy, and its way smoother.

So overall intel is better!!!
