Now, if these cards become widely available..then we know it isn't the lack of ram that is holding back the 6800 GTs and Ultras but instead, nVidia's yields :P Would be the same with ATI as well. If Asus can get ram for their cards, there shouldn't be a shortage for the other side either.

Unfortunately - no power consumption was tested. It would have been interesting to see this design approach compared to the standard nvidia 6800/256MB layout (clocking and memory type).
