We used 2 of these units for a little over 12 months. Work was primarily restricted to office type, with some video and graphics editing.
They worked well, but had some problems. Both units were returned to Compaq at some point in that 12 month period, one for issues related to the USB ports on the back (the folding flap that covers them tends to put pressure onto USB plugs, causing breakage of the port - remove the flap!); the other because the CD/DVD drive failed. Subsequently, shortly after the warranty expired, the other computer's CD/DVD drive also expired.
The case has a weak spot to the left of the keyboard that has a join and indentation. Both computer cases cracked at this point.
Although overall we were pleased with the computer, the weaknesses, failings and design faults have left us deciding not to use Compaq laptops again until we see some improvements.
