It's your comments about 2D throughout the article that show you are pretty clueless.

So, you aim at comparing products that's only capable of producing same image quality. But I really want to know the opposite. I don't care if an old card running a game ugly but smooth. I do care if a new card running pretty but laggy. So where's your reviews for that????

I have a Gateway P4, 3.2mhz (800mhzFSB), 1gb DD3 400 mhz Ram and the ATI Radeon X300 PCIe card. This card totally bogged my system down while running Doom 3. I have to play it at 800x600, Med graphics in order to have any smooth game play. I've have the PC for about a week. I am now considering taking it back rather than upgrade to a new video card. I don't think that anyone purchasing a high end system should be required to replace video immediatly in order to play a game!!

Is X300 SE better than GeForce Ti 4200 128 MB?
I just ordered a Dell XPS 400. Under my wife's insistence, I stayed with the default 128 MB X300 SE PCI. The 256 MB GeForce 6800 costs $150 extra. Since I need a video card with VIVO, so I do not mind to have X300 SE, at least at the beginning.
My old and now broken computer is Athlon XP 2600+ with 400 MB PC-133 SDRAM. The video card is GeForce Ti 4200 128 MB VIVO. The games I played are tolerable , but a little painful. I wonder if the low-end X300 SE can reach the performance of my well-aged Ti 4200?
One thing I know for sure is that I refuse to pay more than $200 for a video card. Beyond that, I will simply buy an XBox 360 for $400 total. Unless, of cause, if that $500 video card can project holographic 3D images like the original Star Wars movie made in 1978. Come on, it is 2005 already! Why can't we live in post-Evil Empire world?
Thanks in advance for any comment and general opinion.
