1. Could have mentioned whether or not these scanners are supported under SANE. I recently bought a Perfection 2400 Photo which was the cheapest Epson I could find with good linux support; there's both a native SANE driver and a proprietary one available. I've used the native driver with good results.

Seems there's a proprietary driver available for the Perfection 3170 PHOTOhttp://www.epkowa.co.jp/english/linux_e/dl_scan.html [Posted by: eloj | Date: 11/01/04]
2. Hello,
I am looking for a scanner that scans standard and non-standard negatives. Don Searcy [Posted by: spuck | Date: 11/04/04]
3. Do you have any idea what the scanning time, at full resolution, is with the 4180 when scanning a 35mm negative? If not, how do suppose I could get that info?
Thanks a lot. Ron K [Posted by: Ron | Date: 11/19/04]
4. This website sucks. None of the pictures come up because they are all corrupt. Worthless.

5. Could you fix the links to the pictures and charts please. I would like to see the information since it add a significant amount of information to the review.
