You do realize that they make a 24 pin to 20 pin adapter - Don't you? :)

you used a pentium 4 which has in its specification that the cpu cooler should blow air onto the rest of the mobo. what happens with an amd set up, does the mosfet still burn? or not? i'm hoping to buy one so i really need to know whether its worth it or not, cos if it melts the mobo then its not.

I've recently purchased the TNN500AF. I've installed the Asus P5AD2 Premium motherboard and Asus EN5900 (pci express) grafics card. The processor is Intel Pentium 4 LGA775 3,4GHz.
The computer doesn't boot at all. Though, due to motherboard's feature I can hear a vocal post message: "System failed CPU test". In order to find out where the proplem is I've tried to supply power from an external power supply Hec PFC 435W. Everything worked fine. Then I've measured the voltage output of the TNN400APF -V2 and everything seemed as in documentation. Please help me to find a solution since I can' t operate my computer with a permanent external power supply.

All this talk about "quiet" and "noiseless" and yet not a single decible reading?

Has anyone put it into a totally isolated room and stuck a noise meter up to it?

Not very good cooling on the CPU numbers. My Zalman CNPS7000BCU, keeps my CPU at 110 F after an hour of playing Call Of Duty II. I would've expected it to cool much better considering the cost.
