Thanks for the review. Since the drive is built primarily for mp3 players, it would be great to see a review that incorporates physical stress testing.

How about packaging 4/8/16 of these drives into a 3.5 inch form factor with raid functionality to produce the first composite drive with a linear read/write speed of
4.88*(4/8/16) =
19.52 / 39.04 / 78.08 MB/s!
Naturally power consumption would be the limiting factor here but presumably some of the drive electronics could be combined to reduce this total.
