just wanted to comment that what I'd like to see is AGP cards still made.

Sure, if I'm going to buy a new platform, I'm going to get PCIe. But, if I bought a high end Athlon64 or Pentium4 in the last year, I'm probably going to have an AGP slot. So what I'd like to see is cards that actually use AGP in the high end. Give me an affordable Geforce6 on AGP. Give me an affordable Radeon x700 or x800 on AGP.

well, depends probalby on what people have already. I mean, i bought a 6800gt back over the summer, and nwo i want to upgrade my processor, but the most advanced mainboards are PCIe, and i won't want to have to pawn the 6800gt just so i can rebuy it with PCIe
