1. Good review, but the size and transfer speeds are similiar to a DVD-RW, and it probably costs far more than a DVD-RW drive. Why would somebody want this?

2. Because someone might want to take it round to computers that don't have a DVDRW drive.

3. The product works great if you do not have to store more than 1 GB of data. What has occurred to me is that going above that threshhold causes the device to hang my systems. I've tested it on several different machines on Windows XP (Professional and Home) both laptops and desktops with USB 1.1. and 2.0 interfaces. It simply doesn't work. I probably got a bad device. Support on this is awful. I've waited 30 minutes on the phone for a technical representative and I have yet to hear a live person. Good luck!
