Do you guys think its worth it to upgrade to one from a 9600 XT?

Only reason I am not doing it right away is because it seems to have quite low fps in HL2 for some reason (no CS:S)

The difference is that the 6600GT is twice as fast as the vanilla. The archictect is exactly the same, but the GT is clocked at roughly twice the memory and core clockspeeds, which does indeed double the rendering power, at least when it comes to graphics cards.

6600 Vanilla - 300Mhz Core / 700MHz Memory
6600GT - 500Mhz Core / 1000MHz Memory

Huuuuuuuuge difference :)

I have upgrade from 9800SE@Pro to 6600GT, and the speed boost is really noticeable.
