What about memory ,fast memory for AMD slow for intel in the test ,What would have happened if they picked a medium fast memory for AMD & 667 mhz memory for the intel sets .Just a qustion
DDR1 @ 200 MHz and DDR2 @ 266 MHz are somewhat comparable in performance and since Intels chipsets doesn't support DDR2 @ 333 MHz natively it would be an unfair comparison.
Bascially Intel's products are obsolete and uncompetitive. No one with a clue would buy these CPUs when you can have Opteron or A64 with much better performance. Intel is hoping the gullible will keep buying their crap until they figure out how to compete with AMD's superior technology. Intel's in for another big surprise with dual-core... Pretty funny to see the clowns at Satan Central running around like complete morons. They never could compete head-to-head.
