Well, I agree with this article, except in their comments about the Hardcano 7. I find that the Hardcano 7 & 8 are extremely useful, as 1. they keep the HDD out of the way, 2. they allow the HDD to be easily moved around, in containment, and then, just slipped in through the FRONT of the case, which is much easier for packed cases of people with big long graphics cards, and controller cards, and cables for their fans and lights everywhere, 3. they keep the hard drive cooler, as mentioned, even though it is only a marginal improvement, 4. they providfe easy access to ports, at the front of the case, no matter how hard it is to find out where to install the plugs for those ports :).
