lol are you kidding me, im in europe and i think a BD-R drive for computer would be very interessting backup solution, especially if the 27 gig discs would be as cheap as 5-6 dvd-r discs.

dvd-r dual layer is not even an option right now as its way to expensive, so blu-ray has an entire market to just swoop in and take over, if it could be sold at the right price.
