My Maxtor OneTouch (I) 250GB hard disk just crashed. No guarantee anymore (1.5 years old). This is the second Maxtor hard disk that crashed in less than one year. I don't I will buy the OneTouch II or any other Maxtor hard disk anymore!!!

What happened to the files. Poorly written review that relies upon images. Without ability to view picture, review makes no sense. Author should be able to write commentary that stands up on its own.

I have had a Maxtor model EO1G250 since 12/29/04. Once in a while it would stop working, I would turn it off and then back on.

Now I have much bigger problems. I try to get into it and I get an error message F/: is not accessible. The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

Lucky I had my data backed up on DVDs

i am getting this stupiud error now, i backed up my drive last night cause im taking my latop on a trip..now i cant get to it it "unacceable..and the file format says RAW".. damn it.
