These figures are not representative. I mean even the low end gf6600 has more than 100 million transistors and you can't call it a high end device.
They should find a new way of figuring out what a high end device is and it shouldn't be based on the amount of transistors. Maybe it should be based on the price. Most highend devices do cost more than €300.
What will happen when the R5xx series is launched. The R520 will have more than 300m transistors.

Well, I sure wouldn't call a GF6600 low end either. ;)
You have a good point though.

Would be nice to see a complete listing of which GPU's have more than 100 million transistors.
