1. Good news!
As one is forced to use 1.5 Volt Graphic Cards with the newer chipset mboards and with the cards advancing very quickly it is good to have something reasonable on board.
Been 1.5 months since my Asus A9550 GE has gone for repair (the fan is too loud) under warranty and what would I do without o/b graphics? Buy another card ? No , that would be rewarding an industry which has produced this thing with a fan (maybe just to show off) when it wasn't actually needed!
Nvidia's novelty will most probably help in deciding on an AMD 64 platform as it is sometimes good to wait for better VGA cards.

I doubt, because in that case nvidia would leg behind ati, even intel
on the specs. Even if performance was on par.
