1. Thanks for this comprehensive review - though laptops aren't my main concern, as I can't afford one at the moment.Please correct the Bus Frequency at page 7 to read 533 MHz for ASUS W2P00VB.

2. just got my W2. it's a great machine. if you are traveling to taiwan, get your W2 there. its a couple hundres US dollars cheaper and a very nice perfectly fitting case is included. you can ask for english only keyboard and english window xp home edition free of charge. pro is upgradable for about 80 us dollars. one additional benefit of getting it in taiwan is free 2 year global warranty

3. nice and detailed review, however could you help disolving where the modells are sold with different components? Europe: m760, 128 grafic card. US: m770, 128 grafic card. This article m760, 64 grafic card. Taiwan where its produced ......??? would have loved to know if they can set it up even higher, but I am sadly not capable of reading Taiwan.

4. I've had my W2 for a week now. The screen is awesome, the look and feel is high-end professional. I haven't tried the multimedia aspects yet - they were a distant second in my purchase priorities. The sole annoyance is the placement of the ports - I'd prefer them on the back instead of the sides, particularly the right side where I mouse. Yes, mouse; one feature that attracted me to the W2 was the touchpad switch, but that turned out to be superfluous - the machine is smart enough to disable the touchpad when it senses a mouse (Bravo!).
Build quality, materials and finish are superb. Some high-end car manufacturer should slap their name on this beast - Porsche would be most appropriate.
