Wish you would test the 213T and other similar 20-21" monitors this way...

Excellent work as always from you. It would be very interesting to see an update on this as display technologies progress. From the current generation the interesting candidates are the Hitachi used panels (claiming 16 ms TON+TOFF) and the Fujitsu MVA Premium (used in Fujitsu and Formac panels).

Thanks again for great measurements.

I own the Samsung 151P and 171P. Both have a claimed response time of 25ms, and I can't notice any ghosting or streaking using tests available on the web (such as the one on monitorsdirect.com). The big difference is up and down angle viewing. The 151P is quite poor -- even a slight raising or lowering of my head produces visible darkening of the upper part of the screen. The 171P produces no such effects, and is perfect.

Even though both have height adjustment, it is not enough. I have to place the 151P on a support to get the top of the visual portion of the screen to be exactly parallel to the top of my head. This minimizes the up down viewing angle limitations on the 151P.

Since these arer premium LCDs, I'm hoping my real response times are close to the better Samsungs you tested.
