It would of been nice to see this compared to another set of 6x00's SLI'd (6600GT/6800GT) and also compared against a single 7800GTX.

"A SLI pair of MSI NX6800-TD128E cards is either faster or at least equal to a single GeForce 6800 GT, with a few exceptions. So, it will make sense to buy two GeForce 6800 instead of one GeForce 6800 GT only if the former configuration costs the same or a little more money."
I disagree, I think its only worth to buy two 6800s if its a lot cheaper than a single 6800GT. Plus, a non-SLI board + 6800GT should cost less than two 6800NU's and an SLI board. -> If you get a 6800GT + SLI board, you'll have room for upgrade. - not so with two 6800NUs.
In the “eye candy” mode (i.e. when we enable such image-enhancing features as full-screen anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering) the single MSI NX6800-TD128E can hardly provide a playable frame rate even in 1024x768. Meanwhile, the SLI pair of such cards yields enough frames per second even in 1280x1024.
umh 42.5 fps @ 1024x768 is hardly playable?

When anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering are enabled, the MSI NX6800-TD128E is too slow even in 1024x768 at the maximum graphics quality settings (save for the texture quality setting which was set to “High”).

again 40fps+ is "too slow"? by what standard?

Thanks for the comments!

We consider something about 60 fps to be comfortable for playing first person shooter games. As a result of that we would hardly consider below 50 fps (except of a few cases) as sufficient performance.

"High Speed at a Reasonable Price?"

Where is the price? How much it cost?

You are all missing the all point of the goods of this card, overclocking potencial.
Isn't SLI, that is plain stupid, putting 2 cards that cost the same of one. And dont forget 2 128MB cards isnt 1 SLI with 256MB but one SLI with 128MB.
Where is the advantage of putting 2 cards? Some games have issues because of running in SLI. Lower power?

6600GT 128MB (AGP) - 180€
GeForce 6800 LE (AGP) - 153€
