I don't like the ASUS AIbooster as proof of the overclocking. when applying, I can do a screen capture while the number surges for over 9000!

I'm just waiting for AMD to make a prosessor that out performs that 7GHa pentium @ 3GHz and 40W of heat. AMD might do that... I would not be suprised.

Right now I'm waiting for DDR3, BTX, SATA 6GB and truly faster graphics cards to arrive (10fps here or there won't change the world)

I'm pretty happy with my cheap 1.8GHz AMD64 but I would like a computer that does my several hour encoding task in minutes... Even that P4 @ 7 GHz couldn't do that...

Still... Microprosessors have been developed just since 70's. That's 30 years of development. Think about car or even a lightbulb after 30years of it's devopment... not really a ready product eh? so why expect a prosessor to be.

I can do it on my PC (1mil digits of pi) in under 3 seconds, and its reproducable.
