so so do Ati mean to make motherboards with 4 pci-express x16 slots.. thats 64 pci-express lanes if they want full speed, then they should need a few more for other instick cards, with such a mighty system you cant be without a sound card and maybe 2 ppu's if thats possible =)
or is "visual processing units" simply the chips or do they refer to a card ?
If they mean chips i guess dualchipped cards in sli would make the trick. but if there was no limit to number of chips used even 4 dual chip cards could be used, that would be a monster system, like the McLaren F1 of gaming computers =)
