2. Maxtor offers a numerous amount of different external harddrives. What is the MODELNUMBER ??? of this HD ?????

5. Never touch the maxtor drive. I have been duly informed by a data recovery firm that Maxtor's are regulalry seen in their office. Capability may be good but if the drive is unreliable then dont waste your time.

6. For any device that connects to a powered port, a revue should include a reference to whether the device is powered by the bus or not. This is particularly so in the case of portable drives where some are bus powered.
