i bought a 120gb which after a couple days i had to send it back for replacement because it crashed. i also have a friend whose crashed almost in the same manner.

I'm sure that you have a great deal of knowledge about computers, but you need to improve the quality of your writing--the article is hard to read.

I have purchased an 80GB Passport model. I have installed the drive and all indications are ok, but when I click on my Computer it does not display the WD icon, I cannot access the hard drive , give me any hints or indications of how I should proceed.

good day, i have a problem with the 40g wdxml400UETE(wd400U017-RTE) MODEL. suddenly it doesnt display on "my computer" i can see it in my device manager and also when i plug it in to my laptop, i see it.but on my computer i cannot access it-also,it has a strange name that comes with it"wdc rom model -scorpio--usb device" on my device manager.please anybody,how caan i start accessing my usb again or should i just return it cos i stil hav warranty. thank you
